“Leadership, Experience, Opportunity”
three words that come to mind when thinking about leadership. That is what distinguishes a Leo. Leos, being the Lions Clubs International’s youngest members, exemplify the greatest values of our amazing organisation. They are committed young people who understand the need of taking action. Leos and Lions have a great combination when they work together. Through this blog I would like to discuss about the functions, working and motives of LEO Club International.
A responsible citizen abides by all the laws and order of the country. They are entitled to exercise all the fundamental rights and duties, such as casting a vote, paying government taxes, and protecting the country from corruption. Being a good and responsible citizen of the country, one must engage in activities or assist in tackling issues such as keeping the environment clean, raising money for charities, conserving electricity, water, and natural resources, or protecting public properties, etc.

It believes in getting people under one banner to help society as a whole. LEOs essentially is a service project of the Lions to build responsible future leaders.
LEO is focused on socialization or precisely secondary socialization. We believe that learning the appropriate behavior as a member of a smaller group within the larger society is an essential part of shaping one’s personality.
Janie Lewis once said,
“We have a social responsibility, a constitutional opportunity, and a moral obligation to help others”.
Social Responsibility is the foremost responsibility in which all individuals are responsible for consummating their ethical duties which would benefit society and make a balance between the social welfare of the environment. And thus LEO clubs help you be a better and socially responsible citizen.
